Description

Oil on Canvas
6ft x 12ft

This work speaks [to me] of what has become of my faith [in god] and how I usurp it with the "flesh".

Further explanation on why I utilize two panels and their symbolism can be found on my main DA page under "my gig". Its good reading and I highly recommend it with a cocktail.

the story behind this artworks (two images) is kind of blurred at first sight: at the left artwork I can see that there's graffiti on the wall, and that the girl is painted in monochrome black and it kind of expresses a sad, dark position like she's in a jail or inner closed for that she's in the nude, comparing to the other artwork which is expressing not by color, but by expression her fears (supposedly her sexual fears by that somebody unknown is pressing her breasts strongly until she suffers). the weirdest thing is actually the title of the artwork, which blurred everything for me - my religion? is it her need to be hurt in those manners? I would want more description.
the amazing control of colors pay out for everything here, even tho in the right artwork you've kept the artlines still the hue of colors, shadings and textures are amazing and the way you didn't blur out the brush prints but again, the artlines are a bother to me.
